Did you know the scientific name for our bananas is ‘Musa Acuminata’ ? With all the benefits of bananas (they contain fiber, potassium and vitamin B6) we believe it's wise to eat many "Musa Acuminata".

Chiquita bananas are a source of Potassium. Potassium can help the normal functioning of the nervous system, allows normal muscle function and helps maintaining normal blood pressure. 100 grams of banana contain approximately 17.9% of the recommended daily value of Potassium.

Vitamin B6 contributes to normal functioning of the nervous system, normal psychological function and red blood cell formation and also the good function of the immune system. It also reduces tiredness and fatigue while working as a regulator of hormonal activity. 100 grams of banana contain approximately 18.5% of the recommended daily value of vitamin B6.
